Terms of Service
Effective date: March 8, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Crumb platform operated by Jordan Labs, LLC ("we," "us," or "Crumb"). By accessing or using Crumb, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1. Description of Service
Crumb is an AI-powered commerce platform that connects Square merchants to AI agents via the Model Context Protocol (MCP). The service enables AI assistants (such as ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini) to discover merchant products, manage shopping carts, and generate secure checkout links powered by Square. Crumb acts as an intermediary between merchants' Square catalogs and AI agents; we do not directly process payments.
2. Eligibility
To use Crumb, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction.
- Have an active Square merchant account in good standing.
- Be authorized to act on behalf of the business entity connected to Crumb.
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those governing commerce, consumer protection, and data privacy.
3. Square Account Connection
To use Crumb as a merchant, you must authorize Crumb to access your Square account via Square OAuth. By connecting your account, you grant Crumb permission to read your catalog, location, and inventory data, and to create orders and payment links on your behalf. You may revoke this access at any time through the merchant portal or your Square Dashboard. Revoking access will stop Crumb from accessing your Square data and remove your products from the platform.
4. Fees and Payment
Crumb charges a transaction fee on completed orders facilitated through the platform. There are no monthly fees, setup charges, or minimum commitments. The current fee structure is displayed on our pricing page. We reserve the right to modify our fee structure with 30 days' advance notice. Continued use of the service after a fee change constitutes acceptance of the new fees.
Transaction fees are separate from and in addition to any fees charged by Square for payment processing. Crumb does not control Square's fees.
5. Merchant Responsibilities
As a merchant using Crumb, you are responsible for:
- Maintaining accurate product information, pricing, and inventory in your Square account.
- Fulfilling all orders placed through the platform in accordance with your standard business practices.
- Complying with all applicable laws regarding the products and services you offer, including consumer protection, labeling, and tax obligations.
- Maintaining your Square account in good standing and keeping your OAuth authorization active while using Crumb.
6. Developer and API Use
Developers and AI agents may access the Crumb MCP endpoint to discover merchants, browse products, manage carts, and generate checkout links. By using the API, you agree to:
- Respect rate limits and use the service in a reasonable manner.
- Not attempt to scrape, harvest, or bulk-download merchant catalog data for purposes unrelated to facilitating customer purchases.
- Not interfere with or disrupt the service, its servers, or connected networks.
- Not use the service for any fraudulent, deceptive, or illegal purpose.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Crumb to:
- Sell prohibited, illegal, or regulated items that violate Square's Acceptable Use Policy or applicable law.
- Misrepresent your identity, business, or product information.
- Engage in fraudulent transactions or artificially manipulate order volume.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to Crumb systems, other users' accounts, or merchant data you are not authorized to access.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any portion of the service.
8. Intellectual Property
The Crumb platform, including its software, design, trademarks, and documentation, is owned by Jordan Labs, LLC and is protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of your Square catalog data and business content. By connecting to Crumb, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to display your product information through the platform for the purpose of facilitating commerce.
9. Disclaimers
CRUMB IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.
We are not responsible for the actions of AI agents that interact with your catalog, the accuracy of AI-generated product descriptions or recommendations, or the behavior of customers who discover your products through AI assistants. We do not guarantee any specific volume of traffic, orders, or revenue.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, JORDAN LABS, LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF CRUMB, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE TOTAL FEES PAID BY YOU TO CRUMB IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Jordan Labs, LLC, its officers, directors, and employees from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from your use of the service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
12. Termination
You may terminate your use of Crumb at any time by disconnecting your Square account through the merchant portal or by revoking access in your Square Dashboard.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the service at any time, with or without cause, including for violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including limitation of liability, indemnification, and intellectual property) will survive.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the service shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Texas.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the revised Terms on this page and updating the effective date. Your continued use of Crumb after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
15. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect. The invalid or unenforceable provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable.
